N◉DES Privacy Policy

MITD Privacy Policy

Effective Date: July 17, 2026 · Provider: Dark Space Depot LLC (Florida, United States)

This Privacy Policy explains what information MITD collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to the NODES platform and MITD-connected services. By creating an account or using the services, you acknowledge this Policy. It works alongside the MITD Member Terms & Conditions.

1. Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly, including your legal name, email address, display name, username, password (stored only as a secure hash), and the signature and agreement record you create at signup. Your legal name is treated as private information: it is collected to record your acceptance of our terms and is not displayed publicly. Your display name and username are public and visible to other members. For company accounts, we also collect the legal business name, company website, and a short description, which are used to review and verify the company.

We also collect information generated through your use of the platform, such as your profile details, interests and clusters, achievements, experience points and progression, activity history, connections, messages, privacy settings, and the realities and features you engage with. Where you change your legal name, we retain a record of prior legal names associated with your account as part of our agreement and recordkeeping obligations.

We automatically collect certain technical information, including IP address, device and browser type, and timestamps, to operate and secure the services. We may use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in and remember preferences.

When you shop the Space Mall, we collect the information needed to process, fulfill, and support your purchases, including order and purchase history and, for shipped goods, a shipping address. You may check out as a guest without an MITD account; in that case we collect and store your name, email address, an optional phone number, and shipping address, and associate them with your order so we can fulfill it, communicate with you about it, and allow you to claim it to an account later. Payments are handled by a third-party payment processor; we do not store full payment card numbers. Where a purchase includes a digital counterpart, we record that entitlement so it can be delivered to your account when that feature becomes available.

2. How We Use Information

We use your information to create and maintain your account; provide and personalize the services; power progression, achievements, recommendations, connections, and identity features; verify your email and protect against fraud, abuse, and unauthorized access; communicate with you about your account and the platform; and comply with legal obligations. As described in the Terms, your MITD profile is designed to provide continuity across participating MITD environments.

3. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with service providers who help us operate the platform (such as hosting, email delivery, and payment processing) under appropriate confidentiality obligations; with partner or sponsored environments where you choose to participate, limited to what is needed to provide that experience and synchronize your profile; and where required by law or to protect the rights, safety, and security of MITD, our members, or the public.

Some profile elements (such as your display name, username, avatar, title, level, achievements, and interests) may be visible to other members as part of the social and directory features of the platform. Your legal name is not among the information shown publicly. If you set your account to private, it is excluded from the member directory and public discovery, and members who are not your connections see only a limited profile.

4. Your Choices

You can review and update much of your profile information from within your account. You may request access to or deletion of your personal information, subject to legal and operational limits, by contacting us through the platform. Note that deleting your account removes associated profile and progression data and cannot be undone.

5. Data Retention

We retain your information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Signature and agreement records, and records of prior legal names where a legal-name change has occurred, are retained as documentation of your acceptance of our terms and for recordkeeping and integrity purposes.

For purchases, we retain order and transaction records — including guest-order contact and shipping information — for as long as needed to fulfill and support the order and to meet tax, accounting, legal, and recordkeeping obligations, even where no account is created. A claim link associated with a guest order allows that order to be attached to an MITD account and provides access to the order it references, so it should be kept confidential; if you believe a claim link has been exposed, contact us.

6. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including hashed passwords and restricted access to sensitive data. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, and you are responsible for safeguarding your credentials.

7. Children

MITD membership is for adults 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If we learn that we have, we will take steps to remove it.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy as the platform evolves. When we make material changes, we will update the effective date and may provide additional notice. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

9. Governing Law

This Policy is governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles.

10. Contact

Questions about this Policy may be directed to Dark Space Depot LLC through the contact methods provided within the MITD platform.
